Egypt : EGX posts collective losses at close of Monday trading

CAIRO - 28 March 2022: Egyptian Exchange indexes posted collective losses at the close of Monday's trading prompted by selling operations by investment funds and institutions and bids by Arab and foreigners for making purchasing operations.
The market capital lost about LE 6 billion, closing at LE 724.3 billion after transactions that totaled LE 1.017 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased by 2.64 percent to stand at 11,240.79 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dropped by 2.5 percent, closing at 1,921.49 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down 2.75 percent, ending at 2,897.61 points
