Qatar Food & Hospitality Show: Algerian, Qatari businessmen consider partnership opportunities

The Algerian economic operators, participating in the Qatar Food & Hospitality Show 2019, held, on Wednesday in Doha, B-to-B meetings with their Qatari counterparts, in the presence of Trade Minister Saïd Djellab.

The meetings were centred on the partnership and investment opportunities in both countries.

During his opening address at these meetings, organized alongside the work of Salon “Hospitality & Food” in Qatar 2018, the Minister highlighted the importance of the Qatari market for the Algerian product, being a gateway for access to Asian markets.

In addition to the strategy of targeting African markets, Algeria is also working to broaden the export prospects of its products to the different countries of the world.

These B to B meetings were marked by important consultations between the economic operators of the two countries, who examined issues relating, inter alia, to transport costs, working conditions, the quality of products and the services required by each of them.
As a reminder, the “Hospitality & Food” Doha will wrap up today Thursday.
