Egypt :  Siemens, Petrojet sign MoU to support infrastructure of petroleum sector
CAIRO - 31 May 2022: Siemens Egypt and Petrojet have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the two companies will support the petroleum, infrastructure, utilities and water sectors in the Egyptian market, by jointly implementing projects of common interest in these sectors, and continuing the search for new business opportunities.
 
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy aimed at achieving the digital transformation of the Egyptian petroleum sector within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
 
The MoU between Siemens and Petrojet is a successful model for partnerships and the integration of vast experiences, great capabilities and modern technological resources enjoyed by major companies, with the aim of unlocking the capabilities and potentials of promising business opportunities in the petroleum, infrastructure, utilities, tunnels and water sectors, according to a statement.
 
It added that the two parties will use their resources and expertise to meet the diversified demand of these vital sectors, and to better exploit their enormous potential.
 
Within the framework of this MoU, Siemens will present its latest and most advanced smart solutions in the areas of digital transformation, automation and energy management, in addition to its technical training programs that have proven very successful in the areas of low-voltage power distribution, motor protection, energy control products, digital solutions, and tunnel control and control systems. 
 
As one of the largest national companies that implement projects in the petroleum, natural gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, in addition to infrastructure, Petrojet will provide its resources, equipment and facilities, with the aim of implementing projects that contribute to developing and improving the capabilities of the Egyptian petroleum sector.
