Algeria, Turkey want to boost and strengthen industrial partnerships

Yousef Yousfi, the Algerian Minister of Industry and Mines, has called on Wednesday, for strengthening industrial partnerships, between Algerian and Turkish companies, the ministry said in a statement.


In this regard, Mr Poroy highlighted the investments made by Turkish companies, notably in the steel, textile, pharmaceutical and automobile sectors, recalling that the amount of these investments reached 3 billion dollars.During his meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Algiers, Mehmet Poroy, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the bilateral economic relations which are experiencing “appreciable dynamics”, and expressed the means of their consolidation.

For his part, Mr Yousfi stressed on the need to further strengthen industrial partnerships between the companies of both countries, and wished to extend them to other fields of activity such as mining, production and processing of marble and granite.
