Algeria and South Korea want to boost their industrial partnership

Minister of Industry and Mines “Youcef Yousfi” has received, on Tuesday, South Korea’s ambassador, Park Sang-Jin, with whom he discussed bilateral cooperation, including the industrial partnership between two countries, the ministry said on Tuesday.


The minister also called on South Korean companies “to use their experience to undertake training for the benefit of Algerian personnel, especially for technical profiles.”Mr. Yousfi wished “the presence of many South Korean companies in Algeria, through industrial partnership projects with Algerian companies in various industrial fields”, according to the same source.

He also reassured the ambassador of availability of his ministry’s services to accompany the South Korean companies that invest in Algeria.

For his part, the South Korean ambassador has requested the support of the Ministry of Industry for the realization of some partnership projects under discussion, the same source noted.

After reviewing the various partnership projects carried out in Algeria by companies in his country, Mr. Sang-Jin also expressed “the willingness of other companies in his country to seize investment opportunities in Algeria”.

Both sides also discussed the development of economic relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, given the potentials of partnership between the economies of the two countries.
