Algeria: A new insurance company to manage the third-party payment formula

The insurers think that the potential in Algeria varies between 2 billion and 4 billion dollars. After a waiting period of several months, the insurance industry is now ready to officially announce the creation of a company to manage the third-party payment formula, under the supervision of the Central Reinsurance Company (CCR). "There will soon be an important event in the field of insurance to give details on this new company which will be created in collaboration with Lebanese," said a source close to the file. Using this formula, public and private economic insurance companies will soon be proposing the third-party payment formula in the area of reimbursement of healthcare costs, as is done by the CNAS (National Social Insurance Fund)
