Algeria: 13,500 new jobs to be opened in public sector in 2018

The General-Director of the Budget at the Ministry of Finance of Algria, Farid Bekka, announced, Tuesday, the opening of 13,500 new jobs, in the sectors of Health, Education and Higher Education in the framework of the draft law 2018, adding that other sectors could recruit up to (1/5) vacant posts available at their level.

At a meeting with the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People’s Assembly (NPA), in the context of the debate on the provisions of the 2018 Finance Bill, Bekka asserted that the operating budget has experienced “a slight decline”, to 4.584 billion dinars under the PLF 2018, against 4.591 billion dinars in 2017.
